Menambahkan sebuah cara mendownload ebook dari http://books.google.com/ yang cara sebelumnya agak rumit dan beberapa orang akan bingung ngikutin step stepnya. kali ini saya mencoba mengupdate cara lain untuk download ebook google.


Jika anda memerlukan ebook tutorial ataupun buku buat bahan kuliah ataupun sedang mencari tugas kuliah. Tidak ada salahnya anda mencarinya di http://books.google.com/. Di sana banyak sekali ebook ataupun buku versi digital. Namun anda hanya bisa membaca preview. Buku-buku yang anda lihat mempunyai hak cipta sehingga pihak google juga tidak memberikan link untuk Download Ebook tersebut.

Namun ada sedikit trik yang mudah-mudahan masih bisa di pake (barusan saya coba masih bisa '29 July 09'). Jadi untuk langsungnya ikutin step by stepnya

1. Pastikan Browser anda Menggunakan Mozilla Firefox, Bukan Internet Explorer, Opera ataupun Lainnya. emang kenapa harus firefox? For me it recomended Browser.
   
   
2. Buka Firefox anda, kemudian anda install addons Greasemonkey, Klik Add to Firefox
   
   
   
3. Klik Install Now, kemudian GreaseMonkey akan terinstall di Firefox anda. Setelah selesai menginstall (hanya sebentar kok, ga sampe 1 jam). Firefox anda akan minta Restart (komputer anda ga perlu ikut di restart).
   
   
   
4. Kemudian Firefox akan kembali Running (muncul) dan perhatikan di Pojok Kanan Bawah. Apakah anda melihat gambar dibawah ini, jika iya berarti GreaseMonkey sudah terisntall.
   
   
   
   
   
   
5. Tambahkan script Google Book Downloader, kemudian Klik Install
   
   
   
   
   
6. Kemudian akan keluar Popup, dan Klik Install lagi.

2. Perhatikan di sisi sebelah kiri, Klik Download This Book,
3. Kemudian akan keluar pilihan Download from page : , jika anda ingin mendownload semua pilih mulai dari paling atas. Kemudian Klik Download
   
   
   
4. Semakin banyak jumlah Halaman Ebook, akan membutuhkan waktu untuk memunculkan link download hingga semuanya. Tunggu hingga keluar Popup Done.
5. Kemudian akan muncul list sperti gambar di bawah ini
   
   
   
6. Untuk Mendownloadnya, anda Klik kanan Pada link pada no 5 diatas. Open New Tab.
7. Maka akan terbuka di Tab baru sebuah gambar dari ebook tersebut. Kemudian Pilih File - Save Page As. Untuk memberi nama pada file, berikan saja angka supaya file ebook nantinya berurutan dan memudahkan membaca.
8. Lakukan langkah no.5 untuk semua link pada no.4 hingga semua bagian-bagian ebook terdownload.

Note : Ebook hasil download akan berupa file gambar (JPG) sehingga tidak bisa di copy paste isi dari text ebook tersebut.

Gerakan-gerakannya:

1. Kepala tegak lurus ke depan. Arahkan pandangan mata ke atas (langit-langit), kemudian melihat ke lantai. Lakukan gerakan ini secara perlahan-lahan dan mantap 5-10 kali setiap hari.



2. Gerakkan bola mata ke kiri dan ke kanan. Usahakan seperti ingin melihat telinga. Lakukan gerakan ini sebanyak 5-10 kali setiap harinya.


3. Gerakkan bola mata ke atas. Tahan bola mata di atas. Kemudian gerakkan ke kiri atas dan ke kanan atas. Lakukan gerakan ini sebanyak 5-10 kali setiap hari.



4. Gerakkan bola mata ke bawah dan tahan di bawah. Kemudian gerakkan bola mata ke kiri bawah dan ke kanan bawah. Lakukan gerakan ini sebanyak 5-10 kali setiap harinya.



5. Gerakkan bola mata ke atas dan ke bawah pada sudut-sudut yang berlawanan (selang-seling), dimulai dari pojok kiri atas ke pojok kanan bawah. Lakukan gerakan ini sebanyak 5-10 kali setiap hari.


6. Gerakkan bola mata seperti pada gerakan sebelumnya, tetapi dimulai dari pojok kiri bawah ke pojok kanan atas.

Keinginan dan rasa penasaran saya terhadap Linux (Ubuntu) kini timbul lagi. Sebelumnya saya pernah mencoba menginstall Ubuntu pada Versi 7.04 dan 8. Namun hanya bertahan beberapa minggu, dikarenakan koneksi komputer (PC) saya menggunakan jaringan hotspot dengan USB TP-LINK WN620G sebgai penangkap sinyal ternyata tidak terdeteksi oleh OS Ubuntu.

Hari ini, download file iso ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386.iso telah selesai. Kemudian untuk mengecek keabsahan dan kemurnian. Maksudnya untuk mengecek apakah file yang saya download corrupt atau tidak maka harus di cek terlebih dahulu MD5Sum.

Apasih MD5Sum?

The program md5sum is designed to verify data integrity using the MD5 (Message-Digest algorithm 5) 128-bit cryptographic hash. MD5 hashes used properly can confirm both file integrity and authenticity.

In terms of integrity, an MD5 hash comparison detects changes in files that would cause errors. The possibility of changes (errors) is proportional to the size of the file; the possibility of errors increase as the file becomes larger. It is a very good idea to run an MD5 hash comparison check when you have a file like an operating system install CD that has to be 100% correct.

Kira-kira seperti itu bahasa inggrisnya, artiin sendiri aja dech.

Lalu bagaimana cara mengecek kesesuaiannya.



1. Download dan install winMD5Sum, gratis.
2. Klik kanan pada file ISO.

3. Click Send To, pilih winMD5Sum.

4. Tunggu, program winMD5Sum sedang running dan mencek MD5Sum (Mungkin ini akan membuat komputermu sedikit makan memori).
5. Kemudian Copy dan Paste UbuntuHashes ke dalam kotak text yang bawah.
6. Klick "Compare"

7. Kemudian Kotak Pesan keluar "MD5 Check Sums are the same" jika sama.
8. Sudah itu tinggal di Burning, dan siap untuk di pakai.
9. Tapi Jika salah, anda harus mendownload Ulang.

Saya pernah mengalaminya, itu karena masalah transfer mode CD-DRIVE yang berubah dari DMA (Direct Memory Access) menjadi PIO (Parallel I/O).

Singkatnya, DMA menggunakan akses ke RAM untuk transfer file, prosesor cukup hanya "tahu" transfer terlaksana atau error. Sedangkan PIO mode, prosesor selalu men-cek keabsahan transfer data, hingghal ini menghambat proses (karena Interrupt hardware lebiih tinggi prioritasnya daripada program).

Untuk menstel CD-DRIVE ke mode DMA dapat dilakukan dengan cara:


1. Klik kanan my computer
2. Pilih Properties
3. Pilih tab Hardware
4. Klik button Device manager
5. Klik [+]IDE ATA/ATAPI Controller
6. Pilih Primary/Secondary controller (tergantung anda mencolokan DRIVE di channel IDE)
7. Pilih tab Advanced Settings
8. Pada baris Device 0/1 ganti setting dari "PIO" ke "DMA if Available"
--* untuk baiknya anda set ke DMA semua drive anda

9. klik OK sampai menutup dialog System Properties
10. Restart

seharusnya mode DMA telah teraplikasi, suara terputus2 pun tak terdengar lagi saat anda membaca disk dari drivenya.

RUSLI ZAINAL yang terlahir di desa Bolak, Kecamatan Mandah, Kabupaten Inhil, 3 Desember 1957. Semasa kecil, Rusli menjalani hidup seperti anak kebanyakan. Seperti dituturkan abang kandungnya, kepada tabloid PONDASI, Rusli kecil juga sedikit manja dan bandel. ?Sewaktu masih anak-anak, ia termasuk anak yang bandel tetapi manja. Ya... karena mungkin ia anak bungsu, jadi seperti itulah,? ujarnya. Rusli kecil memulai dunia sekolahnya di salah satu SD (Sekolah Dasar) di Tembilahan. Begitu juga Sekolah Lanjutan Tingkat Pertama (SLTP). Ia menamatkan pendidikan di bangku SLTP pada tahun 1974. Usai itu, anak kelima dari lima bersaudara ini melanjutkan studinya ke SLTA di Pekanbaru. Dan, selesai tahun 1977.

Pengabdian pada negeri ini masih belum usai. Setelah menjabat sebagai Gubernur Riau, jelas bahwa pekerjaan masih banyak. Tapi satu hal yang pasti, bahwa apa yang dicapainya saat ini merupakan hasil dari pelajaran hidup masa lalu.
