Pagi ini giliran Kak Iwan yang jaga lab (Lab Komp ICT FT). Aku berangkat pagi dari kosan jam 8, sesampai di Lab, pintu masih tertutup ternyata kak iwan belum dateng. Setelah membuka pintu lab kemudian menghidupkan semua komputer server billing dan Client. entah kenapa semua komputer error, semua IP menunjukkan indikator conflik. Menurut analisa yang kemaren hal ini disebabkan ada yang menghidupkan program-pragram hacking seperti cain, netcut dsb. Akhirnya coba restart lagi alhamdulliah lancar ga Conflik lagi IPnya. Ada sebuah komputer yang mau saya install Billing Client, saya coba mengambil masternya di komputer server
Dengan menu start-> Run -> Ip yang dituju (192.168.170.123). Taraaaaaaa. Kok minta password Gues. Padahal setahu saya tidak di setting passwordnya. Dengan ilmu coba-coba masukkan password yang sering kami gunakan tapi tidak ada yang bisa passwordnya.
Akhirnya Alternatif lain yaitu setting passwordnya

1. Goto Control Panel.
2. Click Performance and Maintenance icon.
3. Click Administrative Tools icon.
4. Double-Click Computer Management icon.
5. Click + sign of Local Users and groups, Users in the Computer Management window.
6. Right-click Guest user in the right pane and click Set Password.
7. Click Proceed button.
   NOTE: Do not set password, if the guest user has any encrypted files.
8. Enter a valid password. misal : 123456
   
9. Re-enter the password. misal : 123456
10. You will get the "The password has been set." Window. Click OK.

Now go to the Welcome screen and click "Guest" user account, which will prompt to enter the password.

Akhirnya coba lagi menu start-> Run -> Ip yang dituju (192.168.170.123) masukkan password 123456 bisa masuk komputer server.
1 masalah terselesaikan, tetapi masalah yang muncul yaitu ketika client mau ngeprint, Client harus menu start-> Run -> Ip yang dituju (192.168.170.123) masukkan password 123456. sangat tidak Effectif.

Lalu mikir gimana caranya menghapus nih password guest.
Alternatif pemikiran pertama yaitu mendisablle account guest

1. Right-click My Computer, and then click Manage.

2. Click Local Users and Groups.

3. Click Users.

4. Right-click the Guest account, choose Properties.

5. On the General tab, select Account is Disabled.

6. Click Ok.

Yang terjadi justru client tidak bisa masuk atau ngeprint.

Jadi pemikiran kedua adalah gimana cara menghapus passwordnya, akhirnya cari di om google dapet link di web microsoftnya

NOTE: By default Windows XP does not give an option to set the password to the guest user.

1. Login as Administrator or as an user with Administrative rights.
2. Click Start, Run.
3. Type command and press OK.
4. Type net user guest *
5. Enter the Password.
6. Re-enter the Password.

NOTE: If you want to remove the Password, follow the same procedure and press Enter twice.

Seperti yang ada pada NOTE (catatan) yaitu apabila ingin menghapus passwordnya, maka

1. Login as Administrator or as an user with Administrative rights.
2. Click Start, Run.
3. Type command and press OK.
4. Type net user guest *
5. Tekan enter, tanpa masukkan password
6. Tekan lagi enter
